Rural Behavioral Connections
Greetings
My name is Aliza Quinlan. I have been supporting autistic people, families navigating special education, and community advocacy for inclusion and acceptance for about 18-20 years. I began in Lewis County, teaching swim lessons and coaching with the Special Olympics Swim team. Then started as a para-educator in self-contained classes then I moved into working directly with clients as a behavior technician in the field of ABA, working as a psychology associate in a juvenile rehabilitation facility, and back to ABA.
Rural Behavioral Connections is my own model of services focused on a very flexible approach to behavior consulting for families and caregivers, daycares/ ELC, respite providers who need support with clients in behavioral need.
While my background is in ABA, I am not limiting services to ABA specific interventions and really drawing on my broad experience with behavioral psych, behaviorally focused support, and professional coaching (professional /personal development goals).
For the last 9 years, my time has been spent navigating rural services. Rural community support is important to me, and growing equitable access one family at a time is how we are going to make change!
